Why Car Loans and Bad Credit Do Not Go Hand-in-Hand
Car loans
and
bad
credit do not really go hand-in-hand.
Bad credit can only mean the application of a
high precentage rate
on your
car loan and if you already have a
bad credit history to begin with, you may be biting off more than you can chew. So what do you do? Follow are tips for all
poor credit auto loan seekers.
1.) Do you even know your
credit score? You may have approached a bank or several lenders already and they all mention that you have a
bad credit rate but do YOU know the details leading to that score? If not, get a copy of your
credit score quick. Remember, knowledge is power!
2.) Once you get hold of your
credit report, are all the details true? Many people find errors in their
credit report. By simply informing the
credit bureau of this error, you can have an updated and higher scoring
credit report in no time. Do not underestimate any improvement in your
credit score no matter how small. Remember, this
credit score affects whether you get a
car loan at all and what interest rates should be applied on the loan.
3.) Also, are all your
credit information listed? The longer your
credit history the better. If you find that one avenue of
credit information is not included in your
credit report, inform the
credit bureau ASAP. Written by: Katrina Marion See our reviews for more on [ Auto Loans ]
